Apollo Supply Chain enters into an agreement for handling Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles Logistics across India

Apollo Supply Chain Pvt. Ltd., an India-based integrated logistics solutions provider, has collaborated with Classic Legends Private Limited (CLPL), the India-based parent company of Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles.

In this collaborative venture, Apollo Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles. This includes managing the transportation of finished products from the manufacturing plant to diverse delivery destinations and implementing multi-echelon inventory management. Furthermore, Apollo Supply Chain will take charge of overseeing the in-plant warehouse operations and coordinating transit vehicle points spread across India, ensuring the smooth flow of motorcycles throughout the supply network.

This strategic collaboration yields multiple advantages for both Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles and its customer base. Within this framework, numerous transit vehicle points are pinpointed to facilitate hub-and-spoke operations, enhancing efficiency in logistics processes. The optimization of primary distribution costs is achieved through the deployment of specialized trailers capable of carrying substantial loads. In the realm of secondary distribution, technology solutions, including load and route optimization tools, are leveraged to maximize vehicle space utilization and minimize travel distance and time by implementing efficient route planning strategies.
