In a strategic move to enhance its global reach and cater to the growing demands of the Canadian market, Worldwide Logistics Group announced the opening of its newest office in Toronto, Canada.
This is the first office in Canada for the growing logistics firm and it’s poised to become a beacon in the logistics landscape, offering a comprehensive suite of services including less than truckload (LTL), full truckload (FTL), courier, e-commerce solutions, warehousing, transloading, drayage and over-sized flatbed services.
The new office is strategically located near the Pearson airport in the middle of the Mississauga industrial area and central to the CN/CP yards.
Diverse Specializations Catering to Varied Industries
The Toronto office is geared to serve a diverse range of industries with a specific focus on food, consumer packaged goods (CPG), automotive, mining and industrial parts.
“As our customer base grows in Canada, we find it important to open an office to continue to provide our best-in-class services especially in areas like food, CPG, automotive and industrial parts,” said Nikita Shah, Worldwide Logistics Group General Manager Toronto Freight Brokerage.
Shah has a robust background in third-party logistics (3PL), initially starting her career as a logistics coordinator and continuing through different levels of accounting and sales management. “Over the years my continuous growth has helped me learn, grow, build partnerships, strong customer relationships and industry knowledge,” Shah explained. “I believe being well versed in all aspects of running operations, customer service, accounting and sales will help in the growth of the Ontario office.”
Comprehensive Logistics Solutions
Worldwide Logistics Group’s Toronto office is not just about moving goods from one place to another; it’s about providing end-to-end logistics solutions that are cost and time efficient. From the smallest packages to oversized truckloads, they can handle all logistics seamlessly. They provide all aspects of supply chain management in one company to ensure optimal efficiency.
Local Expertise within a Global Network
One of the standout features of the Toronto office is its deep understanding of the local market. The team is comprised of seasoned professionals with extensive knowledge of the regions logistics landscape, regulations and specific industry requirements.
However, the Toronto office is not a stand-alone entity. Worldwide Logistics Group operates more than 40 offices worldwide and runs seven company-owned warehouse facilities in the United States and Europe. Toronto integrates into the broader network so customers can expect consistent, reliable services backed by the collective expertise of a global logistics powerhouse.
Customer-Centric Approach
For a quarter of a century, Worldwide Logistics Group has built a reputation on its customer-centric approach, and the Toronto office is no exception. “Growth is always a reaction to the needs of our customers,” said Tom Peacock, President of Worldwide Logistics Group. “We are a family business, and we treat our customers like family. When they need something, we do everything in our power to support them and sometimes that means opening a local office to give them all that they need.”
The Toronto office is the company’s inaugural office in Canada and poised to be a cornerstone in the Canadian business arena. A local expertise in place, diverse specializations and global support will benefit both new and existing customers as they navigate the complexities of the supply chain.
